Do you like food and would you like to go on a journey of discovery around the local foods of the area? There are several farmers’ markets in Sussex and Kent and an abundance of local farm shops which you might like to sample. Try some Stinking Bishop on a chunky piece of bread washed down with a pint of the local Scrumpy. Alternatively, or additionally, try supplementing your English classes with lessons in British cuisine – yes it does exist – and cookery. Sample Alex’s special Chopped Toad and then learn how to make it. |
